The torque measuring flanges of the F series are torquemeters that use infrared high-power LEDs to transmit data. The torquemeters are completely immune against electromagnetic disturbances in their optical data transmission and do not radiate any electromagnetic waves. Designed as two-range sensing shafts, these torque measuring flanges greatly shorten your setup times. The various sizes of these torque measuring flanges each cover a very large range of torques.

The model iS is a good choice for smaller and mid-range torque values and at operating temperatures of up to 85°C. The stator can be fastened to the electric machine (electric motor) directly to the performance plate or through a foot adapter and a console. You can obtain all F Series rotors of 1,000 Nm or greater with a central hole of up to 15 mm. The external TCU of the model eS allows an operating temperature of the rotor and stator beyond 85°C. Through integration into the electric machine, this model can also be used in very constricted circumstances. This allows the stator to be positioned very precisely against the rotor even during high vibrations.
Interfaces for F series
Because state-of-the-art electronic components are used systematically throughout, ATESTEO is able to make available all prevalent output signals without any additional electronics. The frequency outputs offer dynamics of up to 7 KHz. This makes ATESTEO measurement technology excellently suited for use on highly dynamic engine and motor test benches and test rigs. Where high current values are generated by rapid inverters, the IR data transmission offers maximum interference resistance. All this makes the technology from ATESTEO as effective as it is future-proof.

When running a test programme in which both high and small torques are to be measured, it is advantageous when the test bench does not have to be reconfigured and correspondingly various mass moments of inertia are not to be expected. The torque measuring flanges of the F series exhibit a wide spectrum of rated (nominal) torque values depending on size. The F1iS has a rated torque value of from 50 to 3,000 Nm with a single size. Odd values such as 2,502 Nm can be created without extra cost. Torquemeters with two measuring ranges also help save costs and help to minimise the downtime of the test bench.
